What is your opinion of Mel Kiper?

He's an idiot

Mel Doesnt have a good analysis for the game but lets be honest in the past years of the draft its been like march madness nobody knows what will happen until that day. We can all do a mock draft but with a new free agent signing or trade every week obviously it changes the draft. So sometimes lets not get to worked up about Mel because come draft day it will be hit and miss. This team will trade up for this guy, this guy wont get drafted in this round, just wait and see!

First off, someone on ESPN should make him change his 1970's Rocky Balboa haircut ASAP. That 'do' didn't even look cool when Rocky had it at the time.

Besides the hair, I'd say Kiper's draft opinions and picks are about as accurate as NFL teams' picks generally are - they're hit and miss at best. Goes to show how worthless things like the scouting combine, face-to-face interviews, and stopwatches are in determining who's going to make it in the NFL and who won't.

i think he's arrogant and needs to shut up. he's rarely right when it comes to predicting draft selections. the worst one was when he ripped the Texans for selecting Mario Williams over Reggie and Vince. Looks like that worked out pretty well for the Texans even though Mel said it was dumb.

He is a joke! When a team takes a player he does not pick for them he gets pissed! I laugh at him all day on draft day! The real experts on ESPN are Meril Hoge and Ron Jaworski !

kiper in my opinion is a great analyst who might not always get the right predictions but who does?

Kiper is a very smart guy, even if he has a hair helmet and snorts coke every commercial break...

A analyst that can't even get 10% of his draft predictions correct

he looks like he should be commentating on hockey. but, it's a tough job to correctly predict what has millions of variables...so. whatever, mock drafts in general are silly.

He looks like Eddie Munster.
