How does voting work on Yahoo Answers?

there are 5 000 000 (yes 5 million ) un decided and tied answers on the site at present

there is a group (approx 300 members~World Wide){Tie Busters} who use their deciding votes every day to get the back log reduced ,and the points to the person who is deemed to be the best answer

past level 5 you get 100 votes per day

if we all had and used our 100 it would ONLY take 166 days to clear the back log unfortunately as King Canute found out the tide turns and returns

not sure. but i have seen tied up answers linger for over a year.

no one in their right mind would vote for my answers so i don't know if the asker can choose or not.
