Emergency Prom Question?

Just go for it. Make it clear to her you are not into drinking/smoking and then have fun and enjoy your prom. If you liked her before you heard those rumors, then Im sure you guys will get along and have a blast!

Are you serious? "She's a boozer" so I can't go to prom with her. This sounds like something some forty year old nerdy parent is writing to try to discourage teens from drinking.

If you a real person, you should not discriminate against every single person who has ever done something you don't agree with or you will have no friends. There is good in everyone and you should be strong enough to stand by what you believe without shunning everyone who does not follow your exact same standards.

Ask her out first, and then ask if she drinks or smokes.

If the answer is yes, then aplogize saying you aren't comfortable going with her, because you don't do these kind of things.
