Are there any questions starting with "if" and containing the word "god" that are effective?

No, it's perfectly possible to ask "If... god..." questions that are progressive. For example:

"If atheists cannot get through to God to convince him that they exist, will God be justified in saying atheists don't exist?"

"If God is the Creator of everything in the universe, and he has deemed the works of his hands to be tangible evidence of his existence, are atheists being logical in doing a Horatio Nelson: "Ships? I see no ships..."?

This series eventually had my teacher suggest I "move on" from Catholic school after asking them quite regularly:

If God is all-forgiving and all-knowing, why do we need confession?

If God is all-forgiving, why does Hell even exist?

If God is everywhere, why do I need to go to a church every week to worship him?

Keep in mind at this point I in no way identified myself as an athiest, they were simply curious questions of a child that were blatantly denied.

If god is all knowing and unbound by time, why does he create people he knows will not believe in him and send them to hell to be tortured for eternity. That to me is like a father running off at the birth of his child, then coming back some years later. seeing that the child does not love him, he locks him in his basement and tortures him for all of eternity. If god is real, how can that be considered loving. If god is real, why does he often choose the worst alternative in a situation. The fact you have to perform mental gymnastics to justify god in these situations show that you really don't believe your answers. You fool no one but yourself.

If I do not believe in God, does that prove God does not exist?

If God exists, but I do not believe in God, does that prove I do not exist?

If I do not believe in God, but God exists and he believes in me, where does that leave me?

Christians are known on this forum for their 'what if' questions far more than atheists, it is a long running joke, I like the way you have tried and failed to turn that around. It is funny, you will be accusing us of being a religion, or proselytising in a minute.
