I'm looking for Southern California Auto Auctions that deal in vehicles with mechanical problems.?
Just got my dealer's license. I don't want to buy cars with major body damage. I only want mechanical problems, big or small. Auction lists usually note body damge, but they say you have to go there to find the cars with mechanical problems. I've paid registration fees for a couple of auctions. But when I go, I rarely see any cars worth considering. Are there any auctions that either specialize in cars with mechanical problems or have a decent percentge of cars with mechanical problems?

No, none of them specialize in ones with mechanical problems. They just handle everything that shows up.
When I looked over the cars once at the dealer auction in North Hollywood, there were lots of cars with body issues. It is just that mechanical issues generally do not occur in cars with less than 125,000 miles. And at than mileage or older most are just junked anyway as few people will buy a car with over 150,000 miles. Specially when I can get a salvage title car with about 50,000 miles for less than $5000 after repairs.

do no longer even waste a while..............autos at auctions are offered w/o any guarantee, and no thought of the vehicle mechanical historic previous - you would be playing with your $$
