Christians, how does Jesus' death relate to colored eggs hidden by a giant rabbit?

It relates to it, similarly as Christmas does.

They are both Pagan traditions, "blended" with "Christianity" to make it more appealing.

I am a Christian, one of Jehovah's Witnesses.

  • Absolutely no relativity at all.

The rabbit and eggs are pagan ritual which should never have been allowed in the first place (but that wouldn't be democratic) Pagan things in place of Christian values is one more way that Satan tries to destroy the Christian Spirit in mankind.

It is literally gross disrespect in the first degree. any parent who teaches such garbage to their children should have their mouths washed out with soap (like I would have got for lying to my parents)

My question to the churches is: where were you when this started? Why did no one stand up for christian values and be counted? Why did the churches allow this pagan nonsense to continue?

God Bless the true meaning of Easter - The death burial and resurrection of His Son Jesus Christ.

It comes from Mary Magdalen, who preached Christ to Emperor Tiberius using an egg to explain the Resurrection. She told him of Christ and how Pilate had unjustly put him to death, though Jesus rose from the dead. The Emperor did not believe that someone could rise from the dead, just as the egg Mary Magdalen had could not turn red. The egg did change color at the nod of God as a testimony to her words, and Tiberius punished Pontius Pilate for his unjust actions.

The "Easter Egg" is completely Christian in origin...

when Christianity was young, it tried to merge all other faiths with itself, in an attempt to get rid of them. So there was only one faith.

These traditions although connected to christian belief are really connected with the norse equinox feast for ostara or eostar

It doesn't. Somehow, people turned it into a Pagan Holiday and did what they wanted just like how Christmas is celebrated. They can sugar coat it all they want but some people not all use it as another excuse to pay spend money on things that has nothing to do with what that day is suppose to represent.

  • I always wondered that to..South Park did an episode about it and it kinda made me angry that they were talking about our religion, but I can not lie, it was funny.

It doesn't. It's a modern marketing gimmick, not related to the historical celebration of Easter.

It is uncleanliness that ruins pure worship.

All such pagan customs must not be engaged in if we want God's approval and the sanctification that permits us to be permitted to see the Lord.

His death doesn't, his resurrection does. Eggs represent new life, and rabbits represent spring which ALSO represents new life. :)
