How many languages can you speak?

and what are they?

Update:

I can speak English and enough French to pass my GCSE in summer

I wish they started teaching other languages at an earlier age though, it's so self satisfying

Update 2:

it's hard but persist with it and there's an amazing moment when it all seems to click

I also have exams this year, Junior Cert, and I have to work on the French a bit! ;)

Yeah it's pretty cool being able to speak different languages! :) And it's handy to have one that really only one country knows (like Irish for example). You can speak it on holidays because no one has a clue what your on about! Everyone speaks English, so it's handy!

Yeah I agree about your point, they should teach them earlier, it is very satisfying!

    Have a star!

Just English. I know a little German from school and I'm learning French now, but I'm not very good with languages!

    English, reasonably well.

    Enough French to get by.

Some Portuguese, a little German and Greek.

    Forgotten most of my Latin.

Always learn the basic courtesies of any Country I am visiting.

    French

German (I do both of these at A-Level for college)

A little Greek (I had lessons for a few years but stupidly stopped)

My grandad is Hungarian but unfortunately didn't teach my mum any. He even struggles to speak it now because he's lived in England for so long!
