im trying to get pregnant. need some advice.?

Me and my partner have decided we would like an addition to our family. I have been on the pill for about 3 to 4 years. I have stopped taking my pill, it has been about 3 weeks since i have stopped taking it. How long would it take after being off the pill until i could become pregnant? Is it possible to happen straight away or does it take a while for the pill to get out of my system??

Any other pointers to getting pregnant would be most appreciated.

Thanks.

I understand your frustration, my dear.

Believe it or not, my husband and I tried to conceive for more than 8-months. We tried to refrain from sex for days and even weeks but it didn't help.

Worst part is, there were empty hopes - I thought I was pregnant but in the end I wasn't. It's really frustrating and I understand that.

I was in Yahoo Answers and in this section quite some time ago and I ask a question similar to yours and a person recommended me a book. It's entitled "Getting Pregnant Bible". I swear it's like a gift from God!

It teaches stuffs like the seven things you need to do before even you try to get pregnant to ensure a healthy pregnancy; the appropriate diet to conceive; how to increase your husband's sperm count; the ovulation cycle and many others!

I am already having my 4th child now! I really recommend that you try reading this book out. Also, they are currently giving free bonus books like fertility secrets and choosing your baby gender! It's for a limited time only!

Keep in brain that best 50% of couples can have conceived via 6 months of making an attempt. I would not fear approximately no longer being in a position to have youngsters at this early time. Even for those who attempt to conceive for greater than a 12 months, and also you have got to see a health care professional for fertility disorders, probabilities are well that you're going to nonetheless be in a position to conceive. Hopefully you'll no longer need to wait an excessive amount of longer. Good good fortune and child filth!!!

i was on the pill for 4 years b4 we decided to try for a baby!

it takes a while for your periods to return to normal and ive evn known some wwomen to take a year, i didnt have a period 4 2 months at one point!

i have also heard ppl that have got pregnant the same month they came off the pill...for me it took 5 months and im 12 weeks today!!!

all women are different....the only advice i can give you is dont let TTC rule ur life, the more u stress about it the longer it seems to take!!!

good luck and keep us updated on ur TTC journey!!

It all depends on how fast your body goes back to normal after you stopped taking the pill. I stopped taking the pill about three months ago and I'm starting to feel normal again.
