Can your views get frozen for watching your own video?
after I upload a video I usually look at the page a couple of times to see what I can improve and views increase, a bonus i thought. But someone told me that if you access your own video page 50 times all your views get frozen forever OR your account gets deleted. Is this true?
Will it go away? Some people say like a few hours and others say a month!

YouTube updates your views in real time until they get to around 200. Then those views are updated 2 times a day after that.
The reason you think they are frozen is because your IP is logged and there is a cookie placed in your browser that knows if you are a new person watching or if you are the same person and it knows if it is your video that you are trying to watch.
If you are the same person then it stop counting your own views.
Also someone can't watch 10 seconds of a video then refresh and do it over and over.
Once you do it once then the system know you are not watching it fully and therefore does not count the view.

It freezes when you click refresh a bunch of times. If you watch the whole video and 10 times a day it won't or shouldn't freeze. And it goes away when you get the real amount of views. For example if you had 0 views and refreshed 10 times it will say 10 until 10 people actually watch your video.

yeah! I watched my vids by the time it got 60 views and watched it until it reached 201 views. It was frozen for months then I tried to watch it again after a couple of months then it gained views once more.try to wait for some time it's not frozen forever just wait....
