Remove hard water spots from windshield with Steel Wool?

This might sound dumb but it works. Take a brown paper sack, like you get groceries in and use vinegar.Works excellent.

Hi This may sound silly But it WORKS pour reg.coke cola on your windshield rubing it with your hand Be sure you rense windshild and paint with water hose coke will discolor paint. Good Luck

I would use Scotch brite pad, with a little lubricant, like car wax. THen use Gum-out and alcohol to remove the residue. This should prevent further scratching and actually polish the surface, a little!!
