How much longer do you think I can last on 3 hours of sleep per day?

I just started working a part-time job in addition to my regular full-time job, and being that I work odd hours (overnight to mid-afternoon), you can probably imagine that I don't sleep very well. So...how much longer do you think I can go?

I tried it, am a caffeine junky. Max 3-4 weeks, unless you take naps. I worked one job where on my lunch hour I napped, within a year they were referred to as power naps, I am so ahead of the curve at times. However, most bosses are ******* and complain about it. My time, if I want to sleep instead of eat, buzz off. They were limited sucky bosses anyway.

REALLY WATCH FALLING ASLEEP WHILE DRIVING THOUGH !! Especially 3:30-4:30PM. I almost fell asleep behind the wheel a few times, was so tired, should have pulled off the road.

If you don't drive, well you are wasting time on transit, but can sleep. Don't get robbed.

I started getting about five hours of sleep each night about a month ago and now I'm pale, tired, get headaches often and can't concentrate or think as well. And that's only the beginning. I myself have asked a few questions about sleep deprivation on here and the answers are SCARY.

Not long, you'll start falling asleep at work and driving. Try to get a quick nap mid day if you can't get a solid chunk of 5/6 hrs at once.

You'll probably get adjusted to it, though I'm not saying you should do it! You should probably take 2 hour naps during the evening to refresh yourself.

My grandmother did it for many years! While she was raising her 2 children, working and going to college. It's not that bad.

Hmmm... Depends. If you are young, then awhile. Also, eat healthy to make your self have more energy. But on the weekends, sleep in.

I do it. It's hard and when you wear down you'll become ill and your body will tell you harshly "Now guess what? Regulate your time, or stay in bed and lose both jobs!"

    Months and months.

But, you'll end up sleeping on your days off.
