Any help on how to resolve an Internet Explorer hanging application.?
Am running Windows XP..Internet Explorer 6. I've cleaned up vacant registry entries and downloaded/scanned with program that supposedly was to take care of the issue. No luck. Any help appreciated.

Go to Yahoo Downloads and download IE 8. I had a similar problem to where I had a program that ran in the background of IE 6 and 7. My daughter had a problem as to where she couldn't get on IE until she fought with it.
After we upgraded to 8, the problems went away.
I'd also suggest going to Downloads.com and download Firefox. That's what I use now after the IE problem.

you still use IE6?
Just download firefox, and give it try, it will be a life saver. IE6 is the worst browser out there.
