My mobile is nearly two years old ~ but I really like it cause it's a folding phone ~ I bought another phone that I hardly ever use cause I like the older one :-)

No I can't. If there was any sort of "need" for children to have mobile phones at all then how did our parents manage when we were kids? The fact is that mobile phones are not necessary at all, but we have come to believe they are. They're just an expensive convenience and a luxury that nobody should have unless and until they can afford one (so not when they're four years old).

Newold.
Seems as if they come out with
something new just as soon as
you leave the store. That's
capitalism, and I do my best
to ignore it. And yes, I like my
phone because it's pink and I
can use it to call people.
That's all I need, really.
PS: Ever see Carrie's phone
from Sex and the City?
It's literally taped together.
I thought that was pretty cool.

It's not even a year old yet but I really don't like it.
It's the same as my last phone, so maybe I'm tired of this particular kind.

My Motorola Razor is around two years old now. I'm quite happy with it. It serves it's purpose. There are many functions on it that I do not use, nor need to use. I don't think I will be getting a new one anytime soon....

Old, but I love it. I want a new phone but I know I would break a touch screen or blackberry so what choice but to stay with my old one?

I really don't know when Razrs were made, but I really hate my phone. I've had it for a year and I'm getting rid of it as soon as my contract is over!
