Which would help me run faster?
I have track shoes but I can't use them because my coach says I can't use them. So will the track shoe itself help me run as fast as I normally would with spikes? and even without spikes would my track shoes help me run faster than tennis shoes?
My track shoes weigh 6.4 ounces.

it would really all depend on how heavy the shoes and how fast you really are. i always prefered spikes for compotition and just regular gym type shoes during practice because you go from heavy to really light so you feel faster

tennis shoes aren't bult for the heel pounding you get from running, so they are a risk for injury. whether you run with spikes or track shoes depends on what the surface is and how much the shoes weigh.
