Help with an inoperative power window - 1993 Ford Tempo?

Good afternoon, auto repair experts:

I have a challenge for you. I have a friend that owns a 1993 Ford Tempo equipped with power window lifts. The lifter on the passenger side failed and the window remains in the down position. I don't have knowledge of the car or its internals, but I generally told my friend that by removing the inside door panel she could see the lifter and (hopefully) lift the window manually to its up and closed position. She indicates that she cannot manually move the window, so I don't know if there is a release of some kind.

My hope is that one of you Ford gurus out there can tell me the best steps for lifting and securing the window manually (particularly if there is a manual override or manual lifter of some kind in that model).

Your accurate response is much appreciated.

Jonathan

Same as before you will need to remove the power window motor and then raise the window back up and then replace the motor and the window will stay up......
