I'm a NA$CAR fan that enjoys almost all forms of racing,

    IRL, NHRA, WOO, Bikes etc

and I would definitely like to see the IRL on regular National TV

I think they have done a good job assembling a crew to cover the races, but I would much rather see the races on a national channel or ESPN than on Versus. The only benefit is that my local Time Warner cable doesnt carry Speed, unless you get the expanded package. And I like watching it in HD. But I understand the Comcast folks have to get an expanded sports package to see Versus. The internet would be another option I guess...

Truth be told, the ratings are so in the tank for everything (besides Indy 500) that even an ESPN or FOX Sports wants nothing to do with the "regular" season. And Tony George's bargaining chip for years has been the Indy 500 to secure season-long deals....and now that doesn't work in the marketplace. It demonstrates where open-wheel racing actually is as a viable sport on TV in the USA.

No, I'm not upset,Because I have verizon fios and I can get VS, but I fell bad for though fans whom can;t watch, I wish that Tony George, would have made some sort of deal that the races could have been aired on the networks channels somehow but whats done is done, lets move on and hope a better deal can be reached down the road, as far as VS coverage was allot better than it's been in recent years hope they can keep that up.

I work retail so I have to work EVERY Sunday unless I have a damn good reason not to. Since I can't watch it anyway, it really doesn't matter to me.
