Blanket sizing question? Help please!?

My draft cross mare is 4 years old. She is not yet quite as thick as she is going to get. If she measures a 74/75" blanket now, would I be able to get a way with a 76" blanket this winter? She is a draft cross, so she is broad. I'm ordering them off ebay, so I don't think I can return them...

Might even consider a 78 or even an 80.. she will probably grow that much this year. Just get an adjustable front shoulder if you can. It is like a custom fit blanket, and a little hangover on the rear is fine.

I always get one size bigger anyways. If it's way too loose you can put blanket clips on it until she grows. That way you don't have to buy her another one next winter.
