For me, it didn't cause any problems. I've been using it for a year. If you want to download music, it shouldn't be dangerous for you at all, 'cause music files can't be infected. There are some fakes songs on it, but you gotta be smart to see what song is a fake. Nearly every working song begins with uppercase letter, first Artist, then name of the song. If you're going to download something else like game, program or anything else which has extension .exe, it could be dangerous. I recommend you to use some other program for that. Torrent is also good for all, music, movies, games... everything.
