Track Spike Question?

Can you wear a pair of track shoes without out the spikes? Will it ruin them? How?

    why would you want to where them without the spikes the spikes allow you to get Better grip

    they would probably were down the actual spike plate

    you can wear them but it will ruin the nub the spike goes in
