dont get a muscle car if you crash it the whole world will never forgive you! and being an inexperienced driver you are more likely to do it. do the classic car community a favor and dont get one.
now that being said if you insist on getting one get a nova, a chevelle, or a camaro. you will be able to pick up an 80 camaro for pretty cheep cause to be honest they suck. put you might be able to get one in your price range, and the camaro does have a back seat although it is kinda useless, unless you have small friends.

The words "good cheap muscle car" shouldn't be used together.
If you aren't gonna spend a whole lot, you're probably gonna get a lemon
Really bad idea for a first car. Petrol bill and cost of spare parts are gonna kill ya
Be smarter with your money, and buy something newer, safer and more reliable
However if you still insist on blowing all your money I'd recommend an old Camaro

Really you want a muscle car, anything after 72, is JUNK, because they had very bad regulations for smog put on the cars. And those huge ugly bumpers put on. Get pre-72 cars. 1973 is pushing it but some are....kind of decent, you can drop any engine you want into a 73 Chevrolet, and lower, thats whats great bout the old Chevys, any engine will fit.

Well, I'd try to get a '67 GTO, but those would be too expensive. So You'd probably want a '73 Camaro or any Mustang. My dream car is '94 Supra :D

Look for a Camero or Mustang in the 90's era There are still a lot of them out there and some are still in good shape.
