Yes but it was way before JFK. A member of the Socialist party commented that they had become redundant as the Democrats were standing for all the ideals of the Socialists. They go into denial every time it's mentioned...and then they whine about how bad the "other" party is with some extreme viewpoint. They spend there entire political lives defined by their cult like perception of it...pathetic. The CBC goes to Cuba and talks about how nice everything and everybody was. 20 years ago, they would have been shunned for visiting a nation that was under embargo and sponsored terrorism. Funny how they waited until the newly elected Big Ears got 'em in.
