It doesn t matter one bit whos carpet is to be installed. If its a berber that might effect it a bit..
Carpet installation can vary from .65 cents a ft to a dollar a foot..
Glue direct and over a pad or sometimes installing in a basement makes a little differance ( Different installing technique)
If you happen to have 1 small room, you may have to pay a minimum so the installers earn a fair wage..GL

First and foremost it depends on the type of carpet you are installing whether it be shaw, mohawk , beaulieu or a private label brand. It also depends on if you are installing it yourself and how much of it you'll need. First: see how much you'll need. Use this tool:

see how much carpet you will need first. Then find a carpet brand that you like and see where it goes from there, once you know how much carpet you need you'll know if you can afford to hire someone to install it for you or install it yourself (theres an installation guide in the same site im pointing you too as well) GOOD LUCK!
