I would get a cessna 180 with floats or get a King Air with floats and retractable gear. The King Air gives you the best of both worlds. Or I would get some sort of Amphibious aircraft that can land on both land and water. Also, these are "planes" not jets. I know that King Air is a twin.

hey 'mah' i like your plan.
I know for a fact Cessna's got a couple amphibious planes that do land on both land and water. But i think they only seat like 4-6
I'm pretty sure Kingair or Beechcraft make some sweet ambphibious, roomy planes too.
