What should I take to stop the pain after getting my braces tightened?
I've had braces since January and this is my second tightening. Before a couple advil would take care of it but this time advil isn't doing the trick! I've had constant pain since Tuesday. He's started trying to close the gap in the front. Help! What else can I take?

2 Advil along with a bowl full of ice cream. Seriously, the ice cream will freeze your mouth and will relieve the pain.

Next time before going in, try taking an advil or tylenol. This will be every single time you go in for tightening. I dont usually take anything as I find the pain to be tolerable without meds.
