Not one damn dime! Which part did you get? There has been no tax break. What you can't seem to understand is that all that has been done is less dollars stolen from your paycheck in the form of payroll deduction. For me it was $13 whopping dollars. The joke is that the tax rate stays the same so that on April 15, 2010 when you file your income tax return (assuming you have a job), you will have to write a check to pay for the taxes on the money not taken out of your check. Obama has played a joke on all of us and most Obama supporters don't understand it. If you doubt me, ask any one who is an accountant.

...And what part of economics don't YOU get?
The interest expense paid on the National Debt is the third largest expense in the federal budget.
No matter who you are, your taxes will go up. Here's why. When you buy something, all the companies involved in producing that something and delivering it, were charged a wide range of taxes, and it's part of the cost of that something you are buying. The U. S. Leadership is planning to raise taxes on power companies and all other businesses. The prices of everything will go up to cover that cost
But the catastrophe will come one day because even the most powerful country in the world cannot repay loans amounting to seven trillion dollars.

It is about the actions of the government not just taxes. The gross government over spending, and rapid growth of government power. If spending money that we didn't have was so wrong when Bush was doing it , why is it so right when Obama does it. Our income taxes may have went down, but the taxes on everything else is going up, so much for not raising taxes one dime on the people making less than 250,000 dollars.

Also, what dont they get about "taxation without representation". They were represented.... and they lost. To reference these parties to the Boston Tea Party is just completely wrong.
