Politics and Religion, a new mix?..or old?
I see from the Dept. of Homeland Security, that certain groups have been thought to be more inclined towards violence or "terrorism."
Pro-Life people, and those that believe in the End Times as written in the Bible. Apparently, there are some that think they need to stockpile food and guns...according to who, I do not know.
My question is simply this: Can it be, that using the fear of terrorism, the present government may be using that as a way to "Target" groups of people that believe DIFFERENTLY than they do?
Think McCarthyism...could they not be profiling/stereotyping those they wish to see diminished in strength? In political persuasion?
I am not at all political. I wondered though, since someone I heard had drawn close distinctions bewteen this present administration and some leaders of the past, even as far back as 1938-1945.
Truth Seeker, I am no Liberal, nor am I saying anything about Muslims.
What I AM saying, is that through the DHD, certain groups are being branded or labeled as potentially terroristic.

It worked for Bush. Why wouldn't it work for Obama? Government will take away whatever freedoms the majority of the people are willing to surrender, and fear is a powerful motivator.

It started up again after the Flood with Nimrod, Genesis chapter 11, when Nimrod rebelled against God and decided to make a "name for themselves" and built the "tower of Babel", etc., vs.4,5.

Very old. Politicians have used religion as a means of manipulating the people to support them for a very long time. As for your theory about using religion to attack Muslims, you are clearly a foolish liberal. We attack terrorist, not Muslims. I am proud to say that I support the Iraq war. We are not "creating terrorist" with our actions. Terrorist were there long before we were. It is neccessary to eliminate them before they eliminate us.
