answer: Trish is spot on. Its a group of contacts that stzar questions for each other and speak out against false assertions or misconceptions about our various religions.

There are Jews, pagans, Hindus, atheists, Christians and agnostics in the group of contacts.

No, Jews are NOT incorporating pagans practices or pagan beliefs into their religion and pagans aren't worshiping the G-d of Abraham.

CB should learn to read her NT about judging others and bearing false witness. Or read the quotes from righteous sages that walked with non-Jews and advocating aiding poor, sick or deceased non-Jews.

Actually, although it originally meant Jewish-Pagan Alliance, it now stands for Jews, Pagans and Allies, as there were many people of other faiths and none who liked what we stand for - truth and countering misinformation about religion (and atheism). Those who get themselves all steamed up about Jews having anything to do with Pagans are failing to understand - we're just alerting each other to questions that need our answers, nasty comments that need countering, etc. It doesn't mean Jews are becoming Pagans or vice versa!

It's kind of like a "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" thing, except it's not an enemy, it's a general hatred/smear campaign.

it's jews, pagans, and allies. our goal is to spread tolerance and counter lies like the one cool b just told. we're here to counter misinformation, prejudice, and outright lies against anyone's faith or lack thereof. fundies and messianics hate us because we speak the truth.
