in theory, a boxing heavy bag and MMA heavy bag are different only for 1 reason and in 1 way: the stiffness factor.

some say MMA heavy bags in general are not as hard as boxing bags because you'll probably be hitting it with your bare hand..

but in reality, I've experienced it to be the marketing.

some manufacturers like REX, product only "MMA heavy bags". This is how they market it. Whereas, Everlast for example, is known for it's "boxing heavy bags."

Hope this answers your question. A sourced a good example where they have both "MMA" and "boxing" heavy bags. This should clarify this for you.

coaching gloves are for sparring. Heavy bag gloves are for hitting the bag. coaching gloves could grant greater of a cushion result, so as which you do no longer harm your companion. Bag gloves have much less of a cushion result. They look after the hand from the bag. yet, the bag would not might desire to be cushioned from the punch. It won't get harm. it fairly is suited to apply sixteen oz..boxing gloves for sparring. it fairly is beside the point to apply 14 oz..boxing gloves for sparring. 14 oz..boxing gloves are for battling or hitting the bag.
