Chicken restaurant in DeKalb IL from Early 1990s?
I went to Northern Illinois University. There was this chicken restaurant that was take out only on Lincoln Highway (Rt 38) . It was on the east side of town near 23 and the tracks on the south side of Lincoln Highway. Does anyone remember this place? Is it still in business?

Is this the place that you're thinking of? I've never been to DeKalb, but it seems like this one is in the right location....

I'm 90% sure you're referring to was the "Chicken Delight" restaurant on the north side of Lincoln Hwy. It was there for many years but now the franchiser has most locations in Canada, 9 in the eastern US and another in Hollywood:
