Why did Bush and Chaney refused to speak Under Oath about 9/11?

Question

When asked by the 9/11 Commission to be interviewed about 9/11 under oath, both Bush and Chaney refused.The only way they would speak is not under oath and only if they were spoken to at the same time, in the same room in a closed interview. By closed interview, I mean that the public (including any media) would not have any access to any of the conversation

Does that sound strange to you?

Also i would like to add  that some firemen do believe the government was behind 9/11 and use their status as first responders to draw attention to their statements.The most common conspiracy theory held by firefighters is that the Twin Towers—as well as a third building, 7 World Trade Center—collapsed not because planes crashed into them but due to a "controlled demolition." Because they are lying. This was all done under the guise of 'National Security'. Bulls#it. They could very easily have answered all questions without giving away security secrets. They are liars and it seems like they are hiding something because they are.

Under oath you must answer truthfully, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Not under oath you can answer the question as close to the truth but not revel Classified information. Have you ever meet a politician Congressman or Senator that can keep their mouths shut? SO behind closed doors doesn't work.

Neither Bush nor Cheney EVER refused to discuss 9/11.
They refused to discuss the matter of  the firing  US attornies.
They had every right to refuse.
Try, just try, to get your facts straight.
Scientific evidence exists en masse to prove that what we saw was what happened.
Conspiracy theorists should stick to self abuse and leave the rest of us alone.

Have you ever seen any president speak under oath about anything, I haven't...if they would have asked Clinton to speak under oath about Lewinski do you think he would have said oh sure, I'll be right there, NO.

The way I hear it is this, if you don't have anything to hide, then you don't have anything to worry about. Now you know why they refused to testify under oath.
