Frogs for sure are eaten in France, American, several Asian countries, and some African countries. Snakes are eaten too, in America (rattlesnakes in the south, southwest, and Texas) and in Asia. Lizards are eaten in South America, I'm not sure about any other places other than that, but I do know Iguanas are common cuisine in South America.

I have not eaten any of them, but that's not because I'm squeamish, it's because I haven't been given the opportunity. I would try all of them if given the chance.

Well, when i go to the rattlesnake round up in Sweet water, TX (not to mention its one of the biggest evens of the year!) I eat rattlesnake meat there because they kill and skin the snakes there then you go to the concession stand and get your deep fried rattlesnake meat. It doesn't really taste like anything though (kind of like chicken). I haven't heard of anyone eating lizards?...or even frogs? here in U.S. but then again i haven't looked for restaurant or place that sell these items.

Source(s): Me...I have tryed rattlesnake meat!

Not regularly, but I have eaten frog legs and snake.

EDIT Iguanas are raised for food in South and Central America where it gets so hot that chickens die.

I've heard of people who put rattlesnakes in chili and eat it. I don't know about lizards and frogs though.

I guess it depends on your culture. Some people eat them, some people also eat dogs and horses.

NO! Well, at least in America they don't. Who would want to eat that! Yick!

I don't have any scientific stuff but I wouldn't know what scientific stuff to give anyway.
