Little help with Photoshop!!!!Please!!!?

At 30-38 he is using the lasso tool to draw a selection.

38-44 I'm unsure exactly what it is because I have a different version of PS and the video is blurry. Looks like he's just using what tools he has to un-sharpen his selection. (blur, if you want to be fast and easy)

As a side note, I don't think this is a great example to learn from. He goes a little overboard and the girl looks fake and waxy as a result. Its not bad as a youtube video but if that was shown in HD you could guess that image was photoshopped very quickly.

Sure it's a professional program, but everyone has to start learning at some point. There are much worse ways to spend your free time. I've taken Photoshop classes in college, and let me tell you -- I'd be in over my head quickly if I wasn't a Photoshop weekend warrior in high school. Keep at it!

Learning this on your own could take a year or more.

There are college courses on this program.

Remember this is professional software, not for a casual weekend warrior.
