2000 Taurus radio problem?

I have a 2000 ranger 4x4 and the OEM radio crapped out on me and I replaced it with a pioneer and it all good again. I asked about the OEM and they said it was an internal problem and to get rid of it.

Does the radio burst off after a hour and does the door ajar gentle stay on the sprint board even as you force?
