i need to write a movie script about gangsters, any ideas?

everybody is saying go rent some gangster movies to get ideas

however you may then write a story that seems unoriginal

i think the best way is to just think and then write it down, if it doesn't look good then start again but never get rid of any rough copys as you might change your mind and go back to it

i think pulp fiction is a good example, gangster film it may be but in a way it breaks away from many of those typical family gangster war and robbing banks and becoming the top crime lord kind-of-movies but gives us humorous situations of gangsters
