Do zombies gain sustenance from the flesh and/or brains that they consume...?

I honestly dont even get zombies! like seriously there dead, but wait no!!! thay can walk and grumble and eat people! im so confused :(

well honestly zombies can never truly exist simply because u need brain waves to tell your body to move and if your dead your brain is non active, if this is the case you lay down lifeless like a veggie.

BUT....

In turn technically speaking IF zombies where real. They would need the blood for the cells that it has It wouldn't need our brains simply because it would serve NO purpose at all!!!!

The driven need for life again would be just that a need and disire but pointless!!!

Hard to tell. They can't really die of starvation and they seem to function reguardless of blood or certain tissues.

One movie I watched explained that it was painful to be dead and that zombies ate brains because of the 'feel good' hormones they contained.

Or maybe the're driven to eat flesh the same way as dogs are driven to eat whether they're hungry or not.

This was told to me once long ago by a latino gentleman with long hair. He was wearing a slayer t-shirt.

"So like, zombies man. They eat brains an sh*t. You know why? Well it's cuz the brain has like, endorphines an sh*t, an like, being dead f*cking hurts you know? So like zombies are all dead an sh*t an they wanna eat your brains so that they can get those endorphines so that they don't f*ckin' hurt so bad."

No, but they feel better as already suggested.
