Scott: Several parents, if not most, are lazy.
Instead of keeping medications on a shelf inaccessible to children, there are now childproof caps that are difficult to open by the elderly.
Instead of keeping lighters away from children, lighters are now designed to be more difficult to light.
Instead of teaching children to not play in the street, there are now signs warning motorists to slow down because children may be playing.
... and instead of parents knowing what their children are doing on the computer, parents blame the websites for predators because they are too lazy to know what is going on in the first place and by concentrating on the online predators they are ignoring the many predators who are offline.

Macaela: I think blaming those sights are ridiculous, yes, perhaps 1 out of 10 children are contacted by an online preditor, but really? Barley any. We've had all the lectures about online preditors, stop blaming websites.

Connor: Blaming websites for internet predators is completely ridiculous. That's like blaming an alley for someone getting raped, it is just a place where something bad happened, even if it makes it easier for it to happen it is still not the place's fault.
