Is Egypt safe to go to for Americans?

Question

The Birqash camel market is located right outside Cairo, Egypt and I just wanted to know how much the camels cost in any currency. Also, is Egypt safe for Americans to go to... especially if you are very fair skinned with red hair?

For a small average camel but quite healthy and male its around 15000 LE. And yes it is quite safe for americans to come over here.

I can't offer any insight about the camel, but I can say that you should definitely look into the cultural differences before departing.  Especially if you are a woman, because gender roles are very different there.

haha ofcourse it's safe for americans , don't u know egypt is a tourist magnet? and by the way i can count 3 people in my immediate family with fair skin and red hair who they are 100% egyptian lol

yes it is safe, except afganistan. camel will cost you below USD 1000.
