How do you know it was a miracle? Do you know enough about medical science to know that it didn't just go into remission? Even if nobody can explain what happened, how do you equate "don't know" with "god did it"?
Medical science is far from an exact science, and all doctors will tell you that it works on statistics, not on precision, especially when dealing with cancer.

Spontaneous remission. It is very interesting that every supposed miracle will Always have a natural explanation. Cancer does go into spontaneous remission. However if 10,000 christians gather to pray for someone's severed leg to grow back it will never happen, because this never happens in nature.

If the Doctors gave up, how did you know the cancer went away?
Seems like they didn't give up to me. They were monitoring him, obviously.
Otherwise: Thor did it. Or Odin.
Maybe Zeus. Or the GreenMan.
I personally think the GreenMan, since my mother has had PERSONAL EXPERIENCE of this deity.

Well, one reason may be that doctors are human and they made a mistake when they didn't catch it.
Another might be it was a miracle.

cancer does in fact go away by itself sometimes. the body is capable of fighting it off as long as it is not terminal.
