My opinion - you don't say how old you are - so I would say, as a 73 year old senior citizen - I have simply had more birthdays than you have had - you will never catch up with me. loll
I have lived and learned by my mistakes - had some very good times - some sad times - struggles, achievements - raised a fine family - have a loving husband for 51 plus years.
I have been very lucky and most of the time made good choices. I have a poem that I printed on the back cover of my personal history - I think it might explain your question and understand senior citizens.
~~~~~~
Behold my friend as you pass by
As you are now, so once was I.
As I am now, soon you shall be
Prepare yourself to follow me.
And just for the fun of it here is a quote I really like to share.
~~~~~
“Be your own best friend and don’t forget to wink at yourself now and then.”
Diane von Furstenburg
Very good question. Learn something new everyday.

How do I think about them ? I think they are great ! Some are crabby, but that may be because they are in a lot of pain ! Or it could be they think they are full of wisdom, when in fact, we all learn something new every day ! Even Senior Citizens can learn, when they keep an open mind ! We all have been through a lot of things in our life and have a lot of experiences to draw from. . we can answer almost any question, even new things like. . top rapper is Lil' Wayne (in my opinion). If you have any questions come here and you will get honest answers. . . I noticed you are brand new to Y/A. . welcome aboard ! ! !

Err..I'll assume your question should be "What do you think of senior citizens?"
Well,i got to admit when i was younger(i'm still a teenager anyway)I don't care about them as much because they are pretty grumpy and i find them not so interesting because they sleep or complain a lot. Today,being in my midteens my views change,they are pretty fascinating folks if you let them talk about their experiences and how was their youth days like(i would love to have a long conversation with any of my grandparents about things someday...or maybe have a random long conversation with any senior citizen willing to talk about their lives and experiences,i would love to hear from them as well)you can learn a lot from them and some of them are even in better shape than I am! lol (which inspires me to be fit and healthy,exercising until my later years)

I'm a Senior Citizen myself, but I do have great respect for those who are older than me.

I saw a picture of Raquel Welch not long ago. She's still a wowie. And Cher still looks great. I would much rather be around women nearer my own age than with younger ones. I used to be in a work environment with women of all ages and I preferred the ones I could actually hold a conversation with.

HOW?? With appreciation & admiration, they know the meaning of respect , honor friendship & along the way learned to pinch nickels
and dimes.
Great people who have learned so much about life, they are a joy!
And I am proud to be of this class!!
GOD BLESS YOU

i have to say that this is singularly daft question, its like saying do you like teenagers or middle aged people. i find that i like a wide variety of people of any age and conversely, do not like a wide variety of people of whatever age. Everyone is different, some senior citizens are likeable some are a pain in the neck. The same thing applies to all age groups. i dare say there are some people that think i am a pain in the neck, but my friends like me and i like them

having worked with very senior,senior citizens for many years , i think they are incredibly courageous,i learnt a lot from them ,without them ever realising just how much they teach.
if i can pass on to my grand children ,just a fraction of what i learned from the elderly, i will think i have done well.

I'm not sure that I understand your question. I am a senior citizen,
and I have several as friends. I can't refer to the 'group' per se, as each
person is different, and special. No one is like the other, just as it is
the case, with younger groups of people. So what do I think of them?
I'd have to say they are a wonderful group of people, who have many
stories of their liifes' experiences to tell. If each of us, were to write a
biography of our life, we'd certainly fill up the shelves of any library.
Instead, we are lucky if any younger person asks what it was like for
us, growing up, back in the days of our youth. I'm sure, we all could
fill volumes, worth reading and knowing about, if we took the time to
sit down, and remenisce and write.

WHAT I think about seniors are that some of them just cross the road, without looking, get hit by someone and they say it was the young peoples fault for going at the right speed limit. But other than that, I think they're great!
