Are God's Children ready to ask? for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit?

Ac 2:17 And it shall be in the last days, saith God, I will pour forth of my Spirit upon all flesh: And your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, And your young men shall see visions, And your old men shall dream dreams:

Ac 2:18 Yea and on my servants and on my handmaidens in those days Will I pour forth of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy.

Ac 2:19 And I will show wonders in the heaven above, And signs on the earth beneath; Blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke:

Ac 2:20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, And the moon into blood, Before the day of the Lord come, That great and notable [day].

Ac 2:21 And it shall be, that whosoever shall call on the name ofthe Lord shall be saved

I'm asking the Lord to pour out His Spirit on His children, that their light may shine and they may do exploits spoken of by Daniel the prophet. Will you ask God? Even an atheist who wants proof should ask God, and they can settle it once and for all.

These are the last days and His spirit is already poured out. There is a difference between the Holy Spirit being poured on someone and an individual receiving the gift of the Holy Ghost. The apostle Peter himself directly answers this question:

    Acts 2: 14-17

But Peter, standing up with the eleven, lifted up his voice, and said unto them, Ye men of Judaea, and all ye that dwell at Jerusalem, be this known unto you, and hearken to my words: For these are not drunken, as ye suppose, seeing it is but the third hour of the day. But THIS IS THAT WHICH was spoken by the prophet Joel; And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Take particular notice of what he says in Acts 2:16: this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel. He was commenting about the outpouring of the Holy Ghost that occurred when the apostles were imbued with power from on high on the day of Pentecost. The Holy Ghost has already been poured out, is already here, and is already active. This is why a person can go into a church that has false doctrine and still feel the presence of God in the praise and worship service. Feeling the presence of God is not the same as being filled with God. It is the cleansing power of the infilling of the Holy Ghost that saves us and cleans our lives not just feeling His presence.

If you read on in Acts you will see that Peter preaches about repentance, baptism in Jesus name (which is the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost) and the receiving of the Holy Ghost. This is a major part of the Apostles Doctrine, and it all stems from the fact that Jesus is God. If you are going to a ministry that does not baptize in Jesus name with the foundational understanding that Jesus is God you are being deceived. Do not just think that because you feel the presence of God on you that He is in you. There must be repentance, there must be a change, and only God can accomplish that.

Just open your heart to God, and he shall come pouring in.

However, on your Atheist comment, God only gives proof to those who do not need proof to believe in Him. We as believers and followers of Christ must Pray for those who do not believe, who do not have faith, to open up their hearts. Once their hearts unhardened, then they may ask and feel the Holy Spirit.

    God Bless.

Deut 4 - The book you quote from is illegal.

So whoever this Holy Spirit you are talking about, he is not here for possessing the good people. The one who violated Josephs and Mary’s relationship and betrothal and gave birth to a child where animals lay and eat only to be blessed by Babylonian Magi priests know to be evil in God's eyes.

You want me to let that same spirit into my head and my body?!

You want to explain why so many mass murderers claim this spirit is in them and they are Jesus themselves. I don't see the same thing happening with Moses’ name.

Do you want to explain why this spirit would drive Jesus to Satan in the dessert rather than to God?

Maybe explain why a prophet would only collect sinners and then tell them he came to kill them (burn up the chaff)?

Maybe you can explain why the voice that came from heaven and said this is my son of whom I am proud was NOT identified as God's voice?

When you add in these details, NO I don’t want to see the pouring of this spirit into mankind. It is not God.

What you ask freaks me out. How can so many be so blind? NO get away from me with that pouring garbage on mankind.

we already have that by salvation

No one can be saved with out the holy spirit

Once we ask to be saved the holy spirit enters us and cleanses us from Sin and we are born again with the power of God living in us.
