Spiritually speaking what country does Miss California live in?

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8XMvviFbkf0

First part in response to "Should other states follow suit with Vermont to legalize same sex marriage?"

"I think it is great that its great that Americans are able to chose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same sex marriage or opposite marriage"

Second part: You know what in my country...a marriage is between a man and a woman."

So can anyone tell me what country she lives in where we have a choice but marriage is between a man and woman?

    LOL

She lives in a country where people have a choice n'stuff but there is a right choice and a wrong choice, m'kay. It's not her fault she thinks she is in a different country, it's San Andreas. Her ideas are undiluted by reality and uncorrupted by experience.

On a side note, I remember in a Miss World 1994, the contestants got to write a question that would be picked at random for another contestant to answer. Aishwarya Rai (Miss India) came up with the question,

"If ignorance is bliss, then why do we seek knowledge?"

I love smart women, who ask awkward thought inspiring questions.

Actually I think she is originally from another country I am trying to look that up at this time. I was more worried about that than her answer she gave to the judge. I don't think someone from another country that still considers them self from another country should be in the miss USA Pagent.. after they become a citizen sure and consider this their country sure. And in this country we have the right to believe what we want to which is what she said that she believes it is wrong that is her personal decision. I agree though that if she is such a devout Christian why is she in a contest like that. But again I can not judge her only have my believes. Should she have lied and said she thought it was wonderful and that we should all do it? well maybe she would have won then but at what cost? Some people seem to think that to get their rights means that everyone has to agree with them. and if you don't agree with them you have to keep your mouth shut. Maybe in Russia or Germany or Iran but thank God not in America. I am glad she had the courage to tell the truth. She was not bashing or degrading anyone.. Unlike the judge who later called her names on his site.

She has been raised to accept a man and woman as the paradigm of marriage. She also is competing for a beauty pageant crown wherein the blandest thinking, hot-stuffed bikini wins the prize.

I think they should just get rid of the talking bits of the pageant. It makes the contestants all befuddled when they have to think.

She lives in Genesis' "Land of Confusion"

Its times like these I sit back and remember how intelligent Miss Teen South Carolina was.

I don't understand the concept behind these pageants... are they big money-makers? Do people actually watch them? lol

Source(s): Edit: LOLOL it's the Miss USA pageant for crissakes! See what I miss by not watching TV?
