I actually am pretty close to a PhD, although it's in chemical engineering and not political science. I once had a guy tell me that I know nothing about science, so I sent him a copy of my master's thesis. I'm well off, although not "wealthy". I was in the army, although I got kicked out for sleep walking. So where do I fit in? The trick is that if somebody gives you their resume without being asked they're most likely lying. Just look at syntax, grammar, and punctuation. If you don't know the difference between to, two, and too, or they're, their, and there, and you call people "loosers", then most likely you're not everything you claim.

I think those are usually the people you'll take most notice of since they will have the most radical or interesting political views.
