Will getting cash aid affect me trying to fix my husbands papers?

Please, I don't need any judgements, it's just a question. I heard that if I was trying to fix my husbands papers so that he can live in the US, I would not be able to receive cash aid. Does anyone know if this is true?

Anyone requesting another person for legal status is required to establish the ability to support that person financially without any goverment assistance. You may be able to get the assistance, but it may affect your petition negatively.

    Yes,it will.

If you are trying to "fix" your husbands papers, you have to prove you will be able to support him. You won't be able to do that when you can't even support yourself.
