I downloaded something, but...?

The other day, I downloaded IMVU. I wanted to try it out. But, as soon as I got it, I didn't want it. It was laggy and it looked silly. So, I went to the Control Panel and went to Add or Remove Programs. I found it, and went to un-install it. It said it didn't work, because the program was running. I turned it all off, but it still said it... So, I put it in the Recycle Bin and deleted it. It was dumb, I know, but I thought it would be gone. Now, every time I turn on my laptop, IMVU starts up, and it takes about five minutes to start. I want it to stop, and go away, but if I go to look at the Add or Remove Program thing, IMVU is not there! How do I get rid of it?!

Ok go to run and click it then type "msconfig"

From there it should open a window should open named " System configuration utility"

Click on the tab "start up" and locate the program should be imuv or something like that

Then check the box and click apply and ok. Restart your computer and it should not start up on again.

When you close it, I believe it does the same thing as msn, you need to close it in the icon tray first. There should be an uninstaller in your start menu, if not, simply delete the folder its installed as.

    Eg: D:\apps\IMVU

    Delete the IMVU folder.

Or redownload it, and they use that uninstaller.
