I'm with "jncorners". And I'm not the only one. I'm from California and we have spoken. Prop 8 was voted out - thumbs down. We're taking back our state from the immorality and the people who support deviant behavior.

What I don't understand is, when other people are born with a mental or chemical imbalance such as bipolarism, manic depression, cerebral palsy, etc it is treated medically. Why isn't homosexual tendencies treated the same? It's no different.

I dont know if we could really "impeach" them. I on the other hand did call my congressman and told him if the law passed, I would take my family and my TAX dollars and move to a state that didnt allow gay marriage. Give me thumbs down, I dont care. I did what I feel is right. I didnt push my opinion on anyone. I stated a fact. Would I follow through with it? ABSOLUTLEY!!!

You can't impeach Congressman. You can only impeach the President, Vice President, Federal Judges, and Cabinet Members.

I am a Christian and do not believe the US government should be able to deny marriage rights to gays. We are a free country. Our government has no business defining "marriage" for all citizens.

No, not at all. Jesus never mentioned gay people or gay marriage, but he mentioned both adultry and divorce as terrible sins. Did you want YOUR congressmen to outlaw adultry and divorce? Or are you just picking and choosing based on bigotry?

Why would I want to impeach my congressman for something he hasn't done that I would support anyway?

Why don't you try being tolerant of those who aren't doing anything to you directly? Why don't you let God judge those who are deemed sinners? Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.

No. Although I'm a Christian, I don't think our country needs to legislate based on Christian doctrine.
