1998 Jeep Wrangler replacement parts question?
My husband has a 1998 Jeep Wrangler Sport. His back window (soft) needs to be replaced, and so do the two soft side windows. I don't think his top needs to be replaced but I am willing to buy the whole set. Could someone give me any info on a website where I know I will be getting the whole set? Do I need to buy a new soft top if I am buying new soft rear and side windows? Thanks!
Thanks for the advice Levi, but (particularly the back window) is destroyed. It is torn, we think from the winter. It just cracked and tore. So a new one is necessary.

i also have a 98 tj sport....if you go to quadratec.com i believe you can get replacement windows, if not i just recently bought the supertop by bestop, which has the complete kit with optional tinted windows which i chose... for about 650ish, a bit more money, but good quality

I had a 97 that need a new top. the cheapest ones I found where on e-bay. I cant remember the company I bought it from at this time. I had it within a week and it looked and worked great. So I would suggest you look there.

I recomend best top if you have to get a whole new top yes they are a bit more cash but they will last longer then the cheaper ones. I have only ever used best top stuff and they last a long time.

If the windows are just yellowing you can get a plastic polish kit and buff them out. They will look brand new for about $35 dollars and a little work.

more than likey your real seal went,it is not a clutch issue, the damage is in your transmission you will more than likely have to replace your transmission.but dont panic yet. take it to a garage and see what they say.they are looking at the damage, were not and he might be able to salvage most of the transmission for you.also you can find transmission to engine adapters so you can put a differant transmission in it if it is cheaper.you can find a decent engine and transmission and engine in the junkyard for around that 1500 dollar amount, but you will have to search for one,

check out bone yards in your area.some deal only in late model vehicles and trucks. then you'll have to get them installed. The only problem with that is because you didn't buy the part from them, they may not guarantee the job.But If they bought it from the bone yard, then guess what, they'll guarantee the work
