Has anybody ever dated from meeting someone online, and was the relationship long lasting? Tell me your story?

yeah, i met this guy in .. december i think. a few weeks before xmas. he asked me out in january, and the following weekend we met up (he only lived 20 minutes away) for the first time. now i see him pretty much on the weekends and holidays. we've been together nearly four months, and i can gladly say i love him O:)

Well I met this guy in January on Second Life. Talked to him briefly on there, thought he was a perv when his character slapped my character's a**. Anyway a few weeks went by and we talked again. This time we talked for like three hours straight and started spending more time together on the game. A week later we started texting each other after we exchanged photos. I thought he was pretty cute but geeky looking, a cute geek I'll say. Texting turned into phone calls and I couldn't get enough of him lol. We started to talk all the time about everything. I remember the first time I heard his voice on the phone, I felt so comfortable, like I had known him all my life. It was kinda weird, but a good feeling nonetheless. We've been together for 2 months now and will be meeting for the first time next week. I'm so excited!

Umm no don't you can be talking to a hot Italian with a six pack but on the other end there can be a 60 year old rapist with no hair.

first guy lasted a yr ... bit of a waste of time but i was young and a bit naive to what i wanted.
