I'm getting my boyfriend a PS3 for Christmas and there are two bundles I can get for him. One has Infamous 2 and Assasin's Creed: Revelations while the other one is Uncharted 3 and Assasin's Creed: Revelations. I already know he'll love getting Assasin's Creed, so now I just gotta decide should I get Infamous 2 or Uncharted 3 with it. I know he's into games with great graphics and he's not big on multiplayer. Also he likes a game that's a bit challenging, so based on that which one do you think I should go with?

My friend and I have been arguing about this for awhile now and I want some opinions. If someone joined the Marine Corps., went through boot camp and finished it, but then went AWOL for their specialized training (being on the run for a few months from the military) only to come back and claim they did it because they got hurt and the military forced them to stay in the infirmary which they didn't like, would you consider them to be an ex or former marine? I say no, because he never really served either on a base or in war. She says yes because, well it's her boyfriend and it's a pride thing I guess. What does everyone else think?

I ask this question because of all the "atheists" I've met about 99% of them turn out to be really agnostics who just believe that the possibility of there being no God is higher than the possibility of there being a higher power.

Then why is there no mention of where the Holy Spirit is in this hierarchy found at 1 Corinthians 11:3? "Now I want you to realize that the head of every man is Christ, and the head of the woman is man, and the head of Christ is God."

Shouldn't the Holy Spirit be mentioned somewhere in there since the trinity states that God, the Holy Spirit, and Jesus are all separate entities who make up the trinity? Why is the Holy Spirit left out if the trinity is real?

I'm flying out to Canada in 3 days and I was wondering if it would be a good idea to lock my checked luggage. All it will have in it is some shampoo, shaving cream, and clothes so nothing super special but I still don't want anything missing. So should I probably invest in a TSA lock still?

My puppy is 4.5 months old, he's a pug mixed with a terrier. The other day his right eye turned red which was odd. Well the white around his brown eyes did. It's just red, not oozing pus or popping out, but it just turned red. Can anyone help me to figure out what may be wrong with him?

Why can't God be a she or an "it" (meaning devoid of any male or female persona)? And honestly wouldn't it make more sense for God to be a woman since God created the universe and men can't procreate, but women can. God basically gave birth to existence, so wouldn't it make more sense for God to be a woman than a man?

I know it's in the New Testament (maybe Acts?) and it's basically about this guy who tries to expel a demon but it doesn't go according to plan. Basically he tells the demon to leave this one guy whose possessed and the demon tells him he has no authority to do so and possesses the would be exorcist instead. Anyone know where I can find this?

Do you also believe in the possibility of extraterrestrial life? Just wondering because I was having a discussion about this with my mom whose a Christian and she said the idea was upsurd, but then got mad when I told her that basically God and the angels are extraterrestrials and if she believes in them, then she can't deny the possibility of beings existing that live outside our world.

I'm going to be flying from the USA to Canada through Edmonton International Airport and I was wondering how long customs would take there since I'll need to catch a connecting flight to Grande Prairie from there. So I'm 20 years old and never got put on birth control because I was afraid it'd show up on my parent's insurance, then they'd find out and flip. Anyway, now I'm off their insurance but I don't have any of my own. I'm working at a part time job but still don't make much and I'm probably going to be moving out this summer with some friends and going back to school. Anyway I was wondering if it were possible to get some free birth control at maybe Planned Parenthood. If not free, I wouldn't mind paying the $35 for a shot, that doesn't bother me. But I was wondering would I still have to pay all that money for a consultation first?

It's been two weeks almost for me and they claimed it was supposed to be in my bank account (I e-filed and sent it straight to my bank account) in 8 or so days. So if anyone has gotten theirs back already, how long did it take?

I checked my account the other day and it said my available balance was $373 and my current balance was $171. Isn't the current balance supposed to always be higher than the available balance? And now it's saying my available balance is $171, so where did the rest of my money go? By the way I have photographic proof of this on my camera and I'm going to talk to my bank tomorrow, but in the meantime just looking for some answers.

I just finished reading chapters 19-21 of Judges and wow. So one guy basically takes his wife and throws her to the lust hungry crowd of men outside and he lets them rape her all night till she dies from it. Then he finds her in the morning and chops her up into little pieces and nothing happens to him. But the Israelites decide it's the men of the city's fault and go on a tirade killing off almost everyone in the city (including all the women and children living there). But then it gets better, oh yes much better. So since they kill off all the women, there is no one left to procreate with the men that are actually spared in the killing spree. So the Israelites tell them to go off and kidnap some women who will be dancing at a festival. "So they instructed the Benjamites, saying, "Go and hide in the vineyards and watch. When the girls of Shiloh come out to join in the dancing, then rush from the vineyards and each of you seize a wife from the girls of Shiloh and go to the land of Benjamin." (Judges 21: 20, 21)

I'm actually been reading up on Roman Catholicism and I've found that so far I can see some of it's points. The two things I don't understand is how you get that Jesus is God when in the Bible it says when Jesus was baptized God said that Jesus was his son, the beloved whom he had approved. Secondly, someone please explain the trinity to me. Thanks

P.S. I was raised a Jehovah's Witness so none of this is making sense to me whatsoever but I am interested in learning more. :)

I keep hearing people say that God loves everyone. If this were the case why did he order thousands of people to be slaughtered so that his favourite group of people (Israelites) could get land in the Promised Land? Also if I'm not mistaken God wasn't too fond of Pharoah for not letting his people go or the people living in Sodom and Gomorrah. So I doubt he loved them too, so why do people constantly say God loves everyone when it's not true?
