I don't think God loves "everyone"?
I keep hearing people say that God loves everyone. If this were the case why did he order thousands of people to be slaughtered so that his favourite group of people (Israelites) could get land in the Promised Land? Also if I'm not mistaken God wasn't too fond of Pharoah for not letting his people go or the people living in Sodom and Gomorrah. So I doubt he loved them too, so why do people constantly say God loves everyone when it's not true?

Oh, but you're taking those things out context. God loves everyone, but sometimes he has to discipline his children.
*end sarcasm*
Right, because it's normal for parents to discipline their children by drowning them or striking them with terrible plagues.

There is always the explanation of the parent that has to spank the child. Not only is it necessary to discipline the child but it is also harder on the parent than the child. Discipline is love. Tough love is tough on everyone but toughest on the loving parent doing it. God hates death. He hates to see anyone die.
The peoples inhabiting the Promised Land were practicing religious observations that included child sacrifice. This needed tough love. Pharaoh was going to kill or enslave the Israelites. This needed discipline. The Jews are chosen, not necessarily the favorites. God has been pretty tough on them too.

Good question. As for me personally, though I'm Christian, I'm agnostic. I'm not convinced that there is (or that there isn't) a God. That being said, the concept of God that is kicked around often is really just people twisting it to fulfill their own ends. Keep thinking for yourself (like your question demonstrates) and you'll be just fine. Good luck!

After being slaves in Egypt for 430 years and being free at last they were hunted down to be killed and you say God slaughtered them. God loves His creation more than anything but His creation has turned evil and corrupted and God hates all sin and evil.

God loves the Jews the most (according to, well, the Jews).
You should just content yourself with being a shiksa (gentile whore in Yiddish).

God is God.... He has the power and the right to love and hate whoever He wants.
But luckily as Christians we know that God is righteous. We know that His judgement is righteous and good... Something we couldn't even possibly begin to imagine with our puny brains.

He sure does ,he provided them a savior If they had chosen to believe and follow His Word. The people who were killed were unbelievers and would hinder the chosen people with their false gods and idols, and ways.

God does not love anyone, unless the ones that follow without questioning.
He actually hates us humans, he enjoys rape, slavery, and instructs his zombie followers to murder gays, non Christians and people, like doctors and police, who work on the sabbath...

The god portrayed in the Christian bible shows very little in the way of love, imo.
