Instead of taking her to the movies where two tickets will set you back a whole $11.00 not counting the price of popcorn, soda, and candy just take her to your place and pop in some classic Martin Scorsese films. Nothing says romance to a woman like watching Raging Bull or Taxi Driver late at night with their man.

Star gazing...just drive a few min out of the city. Bring a thermos with hot chocolate and 2 blankets if it is chilly. Don't forget a book on consellations (library for free).

Just take her at your place. Maybe you should cook for her or something. You should make something like pasta and some cake. A lot of girls really like pasta and noodle stuff. Dessert should be like chocolate cake cause every girl likes chocolate :P That is always sweet to do. Trust me she will enjoy it. Its the thought that counts :D
